2019 Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc

Much more than your standard sauvignon blanc – this one continues to rack up the medals and a trophy from the WA Wine Show.

Outstanding fruit, grown in an amphitheatre of marri and jarrah trees is then provided special treatment in the winery including partial exposure to new French oak and extended time on lees, creating a palate weight and structure that sees it become a serious example of the variety.
Aromas of lemon curd, gooseberries and jasmine introduce a palate laced with flavours of white pear and jasmine flower. Crisp natural acidity and fine white tannin provide vicosity and form to the palate, while flavours of lychee and grapefruit dot a persistent and refreshing finish.

A wine that can be easily enjoyed during a summers afternoon or as an aperitif for a dinner party!

Awards & Reviews

Shows what can be done with this variety. The striking feature is its power. Punchy and vibrant with tonnes of tightly held tropical fruit, lifted with a decent splash of citrus with lemon meringue tang. It's had a little oak to introduce texture and complexity and it works so well. Fine lingering acidity.

As white as water in colour - youthful. Dried herbs, nettles, finger-limes and a soft whiff of oak. The texture makes an instant impression - creamy and soft, oak influence far more evident on the palate. Grapefruit and lemon custard, a lovely weight to it. The finish is incredibly persistent. A lovely young wine.

Clear quartz; an attractive wine with a tropical fest of aromas and flavours, the length paying tribute to a totally delicious sauvignon blanc.
