2018 Single Vineyard Chardonnay

Pristine layers of stone fruit introduce a dense aromatic core of flint, brioche and lightly toasted cashews. Fine fruit tannin and poised natural acidity bring continuity and structure to a seamless palate laced with flavours of lime zest, grapefruit and subtle honeycomb, culminating in a pure finish.
This wine has already shown it will continue to develop further in the bottle for the next 5-8 years.

Please note this wine is sold in multiples of 6 bottles.

Awards & Reviews

Estate-grown, hand-picked, fermented and matured for 9 months in a mix of new and used French oak. Still as fresh as a daisy, with grapefruit prominent on the long finish. Classy chardonnay.

Medium yellow colour with a green tinge. Intense, lemon essence aromatics, white nectarines, a faint hint of sulfides, lovely caramel oak. Lemon butter on the palate, bright, crunchy fruit - semillon-esque in its levity and freshness. A low alcohol style. Yum

Not quite brash, but certainly bright and full of Margaret River Chardonnay flavour. It sports a little struck match, spiced cashew, tropical fruit with a ripe lime, juicy acidity, solid length, and, likely, smiles all round as it goes down. Very nice.
